Scott began Spencer Riley in 2014 after establishing himself as a leading consultant having completed a significant number of board level placements and assisting clients with acquisitions. Although his primary focus is on facilitating the continued growth of the talented consultants within the business, he still maintains established relationships across several international markets and enjoys working very closely with new and key clients.
Scott’s commitment to the continual improvement of the wider business means he is heavily involved in the professional development of the team, individual consultants and building a platform that allows each person within the business to reach their career goals.
Having experienced the thrills of working as a consultant myself for over a decade, my role now allows me to gear the business to be the best platform possible for both new consultants and experienced consultants to perform and enjoy the rewards that come with that.
People are our business so for me my role is simply providing an environment that allows our team to excel, and in turn our clients benefit from the relationships we establish with them personally and their businesses thrive based on the relationships we build with our candidate network.

Having previously enjoyed a nearly successful rugby career, Scott now tends to enjoy following friend’s more successful sports careers with trips to watch the cricket or the rugby. Otherwise, he will usually be out throwing sticks around the North of England for his much-loved cockapoo Koby to chase.
When he isn’t on the ground, he might be seen up in the air flying a piper warrior… but only in very (very) good weather.
