Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: London/Scotland, UK (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Salary: £130,000 + 20% Bonus + Equity Options (depending on experience)

We are a rapidly growing, private-equity-backed Bitcoin mining company building efficient, scalable, and institutionally robust operations across the UK and internationally. As we expand our infrastructure footprint and mature our financial and operational systems, we are seeking an outstanding Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with deep expertise in both traditional finance and the unique dynamics of Bitcoin mining economics and digital asset markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in full alignment with long-term mining and growth objectives
• Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Build sophisticated financial models incorporating Bitcoin price cycles, difficulty adjustments, halving events, energy costs, and operational scaling
• Lead capital-raising initiatives across equity, debt, and structured finance
• Own relationships with private equity partners, institutional investors, and strategic stakeholders
• Prepare high-impact investor presentations, board reports, and performance materials
• Design and implement Bitcoin treasury strategy, including risk management, custody, hedging, and liquidity planning
• Ensure full compliance with UK financial regulations and IFRS standards for digital asset accounting
• Build and scale best-in-class finance, accounting, and reporting systems for a high-growth mining enterprise
• Partner closely with the CEO and COO on site expansion, ASIC procurement, immersion infrastructure projects, and CapEx evaluation
• Develop real-time dashboards and KPIs (hashrate, efficiency, uptime, cost per TH/s, revenue generation, ROI tracking)
• Oversee cybersecurity protocols and governance policies for digital asset operations

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• Proven CFO or senior finance leadership experience in infrastructure, digital assets, fintech, energy, or high-growth technology businesses
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of Bitcoin, mining economics, network incentives, and market cycles
• Successful track record leading institutional fundraising and working closely with private equity investors
• Demonstrated ability to scale a business from early stage to commercial maturity
• Expertise in corporate finance, capital structuring, FP&A, treasury management, and tax planning under UK frameworks
• Strong understanding of ASIC procurement, power contracting, and mining profitability modelling
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with the rigour to build robust, audit-ready financial systems
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex mining concepts for financial audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required); MBA or ACA/ACCA/CIMA strongly preferred
• Additional qualifications or certifications in blockchain, digital assets, or energy markets are highly advantageous
