Spencer Riley is collaborating with a leading aerospace interiors manufacturer, and we are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. The position will be focused on managing the timely delivery of electrical engineering outputs, supporting project milestones, and overseeing a small team of electrical designers in the development of aircraft electrical systems and components. The role will be based full-time in Naples, Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate the activities of electrical design engineers to meet project deadlines
• Provide technical support to Project Engineers and contribute to engineering reviews
• Deliver electrical engineering documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Monitor and report on KPIs, project status, and progress forecasts
• Participate in technical milestones including ITCM, PDR, and CDR
• Audit engineering deliverables and ensure high quality standards
• Lead governance meetings and manage task assignments within the team
• Contribute to the design of IFE systems, PC and seat power, cabin lighting and electrical installations
• Create and review wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and system schematics inline with aviation standards
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5years of experience in electrical engineering within the aerospace sector or similar industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
• Experience with aircraft systems design and aerospace regulations
• Proficiency in 3D design software: ProE, SolidWorks 2008, Catia V5, and AutoCAD (ThinkDesign/Think3D is a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to work full-time on site in Naples, Italy
