Quantity Surveyor – Fire Sprinklers

Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 + car allowance + benefits – depending on experience

Spencer Riley is collaborating with a market-leading fire protection contractor, and we are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor – Fire Sprinklers to join their team. The role will focus on managing commercial activity across a growing pipeline of fire sprinkler installation projects, ensuring cost-effective delivery and compliance across residential, commercial, and industrial schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all commercial aspects of fire sprinkler installation projects
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, valuations, and final accounts
• Work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Handle subcontractor procurement, payments, and contract administration
• Provide cost advice during tender stage and ongoing works
• Report on project performance to senior commercial leadership

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fire protection, mechanical services, or a similar discipline
• Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
• Strong understanding of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required
