A leading embedded software company is collaborating with a global technology and strategy consultancy, and we are currently seeking a Sales Director to join their growing team. The position will be focused on hunting for new business opportunities, managing strategic client accounts, and leading complex B2B sales in the embedded software space. The region this position covers includes, but is not limited to, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute the sales strategy across key European markets for embedded software and engineering services.

·       Drive new business through strategic prospecting, networking, and consultative selling.

·       Manage and grow relationships with existing enterprise clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term value.

·       Lead end-to-end sales processes including proposal development, negotiation, and closing.

·       Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and product teams to align offerings with customer needs.

·       Represent the company at leading industry conferences, expos, and client events.

Qualifications:

·       Minimum8–10 years of experience in B2B sales within embedded software, engineering services, or technology consulting.

·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (preferred).

·       Proven success managing long and complex sales cycles, including large enterprise deals.

·       Strong knowledge of embedded systems, software development, or relevant regulated sectors (automotive, aerospace, etc.).

·       Fluency in English is required; German or additional European languages are a plus.

·       Proficient in CRM tools and account-based sales strategies.

·       Willingness to travel up to 50% within Europe.
