Spencer Riley has expanded its construction and civil engineering division following a series of new client wins.
The global executive search recruitment partner has secured more than five new retained clients and converted a number of transactional clients to retained status over the last six months as a result of investment in its specialist construction team.
Established in 2015, Leeds-based Spencer Riley works with businesses to develop their leadership and executive teams, enabling firms to achieve their business goals and add significant value for shareholders.
The four-strong construction and civil engineering team is headed by Adam Garvey. He said:
“Led by client demand we are taking the next step in our growth strategy. Our expanded specialist team will service blue chip, niche and start-up clients across a range of speciality construction and civil engineering sectors from design and build to civil engineering and hydrogen.
“I’m absolutely delighted with what we have achieved so far. These latest new client wins offer us a fantastic opportunity to explore and pursue a range of speciality services which compliment all the C-suite and executive level placements businesses in this sector require. I’m grateful to our managing director, Scott Ellam, in supporting this vision.”
Scott Ellam said:
“A wealth of practical industry experience, coupled with ongoing personal development, means that our team is well versed in the challenges faced by businesses operating in today’s environment. The consistent growth of our construction and civil engineering division is testament to our success in quickly delivering impact to the bottom line.
“Adam is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about this sector. In supporting his vision, the division is on a clear path towards our objectives. By fully exploring our clients’ hiring requirements and becoming a strategic business partner we are able to match and make a difference immediately for our clients.
“This is the start of our expansion. Spencer Riley will continue on its upward trajectory by recruiting experienced executive search consultants and continuing to invest in our training programme to our expanding sector offerings and high growth markets that our clients are expanding into.”
