Carlos's Bio

Carlos is the Chief Performance &Growth Officer at XCE group and Spencer Riley. He is responsible for driving performance and growth across the business, supporting its next phase ofexpansion and long-term value creation.

He brings more than 30 years of leadershipexperience across executive recruitment and the global pharmaceutical sector, with a track record in improving commercial performance, scaling organisations,and building high-performance teams.

Carlos spent 20 years in senior commercialroles within leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including GSK,Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and IQVIA, where he led large-scale operational and performance initiatives across a 2,500-employee organisation.

Over the past decade, he has held seniorleadership roles within executive search, advising businesses on performance optimisation, talent strategy, and growth execution, and contributing to thescale and expansion of international recruitment operations.

He was appointed to strengthen SpencerRiley’s performance and growth capability at a group level, bringing the experience required to scale the business, improve operational discipline, andsupport long-term value creation.
