Spencer Riley Announces Promotion to Head of IoT & Monitoring Solutions

Spencer Riley is pleased to announce the promotion of Corey to Head of IoT & Monitoring Solutions.

The promotion reflects Corey’s progression through the business over the past three years, during which he has established himself as a specialist within the global Monitoring Solutions market.

Corey joined Spencer Riley as an Executive Search Consultant with no prior industry experience, completing the company’s structured training programme and building his market from the ground up.

“Coming from a competitive sports background, I’ve always had a strong drive to succeed. I came into the industry with zero prior experience and a goal to become one of the strongest performers in the company and learn everything I could about the market.

It was during this time that I established my core focus in Monitoring Solutions, alongside the foundations of executive search taught by Scott and the Spencer Riley leadership team, which I still use today.”

Within 12 months of joining the business, Corey was promoted to Senior Search Consultant after exceeding his targets and building a recognised presence within the cold chain monitoring sector. He later progressed to Principal Consultant, expanding his focus into adjacent markets including stationary monitoring, temperature compliance, environmental monitoring solutions and IoT devices.

During this period, Corey developed relationships with leaders across the Monitoring sector, becoming a trusted advisor within technically regulated markets.

“Under the new title I continued to expand my knowledge, establish new relationships with key voices and leaders across monitoring solutions. I’m happy to say that a lot of my success has come from the key relationships that I have built over the years as a trusted advisor and peer to the segment.”
